Plan tasks
Troop Training
Train any mix of troops in one run, building by building.
- What it does
- Trains Ground, Mounted, Ranged and Siege troops in one run. It walks to each training building, trains the tiers you queued, and finishes every batch with a training speedup.
- Where
- Plan task: Duties ▸ Tasks ▸ Add to plan ▸ Troop Training, with its settings on Task setup ▸ Troop Training. Daily activity: Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Troop training. The two keep separate settings.
- You need
- Your city map with every training building you use mapped: Barracks, Stable, Archer Camp and Workshop (City Mapper). Tiers in Troops. Resources and training speedups. Your emulator set to 540 × 960 at 120 dpi (Emulator setup).
- When it runs
- Once a game day, when the screen is free. If the plan task and the daily activity are both on, whichever trains first covers the day.
Troop Training fills your training queues without you opening a single building. You list the troop types and tiers you want, and how many of each. Evonex trains them batch by batch.
Set it up
- Map your training buildings in City Mapper: Barracks for Ground, Stable for Mounted, Archer Camp for Ranged and Workshop for Siege. Map only the types you train.
- Check that Resources ▸ Troops lists the tiers you want. The tier buttons and the costs come from there. See Troops.
- Open your instance, go to Task setup and click the Troop Training card.
- Click a troop type, then click a tier. Each click adds a batch of 10,000 troops. Add as many batches as you like, of any type.
- Click a batch's number and type how many troops it should train. Drag the batches into the order you want.
- Decide about Track progress across runs (see Settings below). Click Save changes.
- Go to Duties ▸ Tasks and click Troop Training under Add to plan.
- Press Start if the instance is not running yet. Nothing runs until it is.
- 1Track progress across runs Remembers how much of each batch is trained, so the next run carries on instead of starting over.
- 2Troop type Picks the type whose tiers you add: Mounted, Ranged, Ground or Siege.
- 3Tiers Adds a batch of that tier. Click a lit tier again to remove its batch.
- 4Batch size Sets how many troops this batch trains. Click the number to type it.
- 5Drag handle Moves the batch up or down. The top batch trains first.
- 6Remove this batch Deletes the batch from the plan.
- 7Plan cost Shows what the whole plan costs, resource by resource, and how many troops are queued.
- 8Map reminder Reminds you to map every training building. A type Evonex cannot reach is skipped.
To use the daily activity instead, switch Troop training on under Duties ▸ Daily activities and click its name. Its Task setup tab holds the same form, with its own batches.
- 1This duty's own copy Says these settings belong to the daily activity only. The plan task keeps its own.
- 2The shipped batch Starts as one batch of 500 Ground T1. Change it to your own plan.
- 3Reset task settings Puts this window's troop plan back to the shipped batch. The Schedule tab is not touched.
- 4Reset records Forgets what the activity recorded about its turns, so it can run again.
- 5Done Saves both tabs and closes the window.
You can switch on both the plan task and the daily activity. Whichever trains first on a game day covers it, and the other skips that day. Its row says already done today by the Task plan or already done today by Task duties.
Settings
Track progress across runs
A tick box at the top right. Off: every run trains the full counts again. On: Evonex remembers how many of each batch it trained and carries on until every target is met. Finished batches are skipped, and a building with nothing left is not visited. Default: Off.
Mounted · Ranged · Ground · Siege
Four buttons. Click one to choose the troop type whose tiers you add. Every type you add lands in the same plan.
T17 … T1
The tier buttons for the chosen type, highest first. The tiers come from Resources ▸ Troops. Click one to add a batch of 10,000 troops. A queued tier is lit and shows its place number once two or more are queued. Click it again to remove its batch. Hover a tier to see what one troop costs.
Batch size
The number in each batch row, with − and +. How many troops this batch trains in total. Click the number to type it, or drag it sideways. The buttons step by 50. The range is 1 to 99,999,999. A new batch starts at 10,000.
Trained so far
With tracking on, each row shows how many troops are trained, such as 2.5K / 10K trained. A thin bar sits under the row. Only troops Evonex really trained count.
Drag handle
Drag a batch to change the order. Evonex visits the buildings in the order their first batch appears, and trains the tiers of one building top to bottom. A new batch lands after the last batch of its own type.
Remove this batch
The ✕ at the end of the row. Deletes the batch.
PLAN COST
A bar and amounts for what the whole plan costs, resource by resource, with the number of troops queued. The cost of one troop comes from Resources ▸ Troops.
Reset progress
Shown while tracking is on and a batch has progress. Sets the trained-so-far counts back to zero. Click Save changes to keep that.
Save changes
Appears as soon as you change something. Click it to keep your changes.
All tasks
Goes back to the cards on Task setup.
Timing and the daily activity's window
Days · When it may run · Daily limit
Click the plan task's name on Duties ▸ Tasks. The timing window is the same as on Tavern Recruit. How often is fixed: once a game day, whenever the screen is free. Defaults: every day, any time, no limit.
Reset task settings
In the daily activity's window. Puts its plan back to one batch of 500 Ground T1, with tracking off. You confirm first, and the window closes. The Schedule tab is not affected.
Schedule tab
In the daily activity's window. The tab has How often, Run before plan tasks, Come back every, Run cap, Retry when it fails and Reset schedule. They work the same on every daily activity. By default it runs Once a day, not before plan tasks, with 3 tries a day. See Daily activities.
Reset records
Forgets what this duty remembers about its own turns: whether it ran today, what it spent and any wait after a failure. It can then take another turn. Nothing in the game changes and your settings stay. The line beside the button says what is recorded, such as Had its turn today.
Done
Saves both tabs and closes the window. The ✕ in the corner, or Esc, closes it without saving.
How it runs
- Evonex trains building by building, in the order each building first appears in your list. It visits a building once and trains every tier you queued there.
- In the training window it moves to each tier and reads how many troops the box allows. It trains the smaller of what you can afford and what is still needed.
- For each batch it taps the plain Train button, never the gem Instant Train. Then it uses a training speedup to finish the batch so the next one can start. A batch counts only when Evonex sees it finished.
- Big counts keep going until the number is met, or resources or speedups run out. If the training window closes on the way, Evonex opens it again and carries on.
- Evonex skips, without failing, a building you have not mapped, a tier your city has not unlocked, and a building that is busy training or upgrading. The other batches still run, and the skipped ones are tried again on the next run.
- With Track progress across runs on, a building whose batches are all done is not visited at all.
- When it ends, Overview lists each tier it trained, such as Trained 2k Mounted T10.
Training spends the troops' resources, plus one training speedup for every batch. With Track progress across runs off, a big count repeats that spend every game day.
Problems?
The run says Couldn't reach the Stable — is it mapped in City Mapper?
Map and calibrate that building in City Mapper. A type Evonex cannot reach is skipped, and the others still run. Ground uses the Barracks, Mounted the Stable, Ranged the Archer Camp and Siege the Workshop.
The run says Tier 10 isn't unlocked yet — skipping it.
Your city cannot train that tier yet. Remove the batch or pick a lower tier.
The run says Couldn't read the training capacity for tier 10 — skipping it.
Something covered the training window, or your emulator is not set to 540 × 960 at 120 dpi. See Emulator setup.
It trained the whole count again, or says Nothing to train at the Barracks — already done.
These are the two sides of Track progress across runs. Off: every run trains the full counts again. On: once every target is met, there is nothing left to train. Click Reset progress and save to train it all again.
Overview ▸ Needs setup says “Troop Training” needs “train plan” set before it can run.
The plan has no batches yet. Open Task setup ▸ Troop Training, add a batch and click Save changes. Until then, Evonex skips the task.
The run says Couldn't find Finish All — likely out of speedups.
You have no training speedups left. The batch keeps training on the game's own clock, but Evonex does not count it as done.
