Ranger Knight Order

Collect the Knight Order's finished tasks, Super Refresh if you ask, then send today's knights out.

Ranger Knight Order works the Knight Order board in the Event Center. It collects everything the board has finished, can Super Refresh the tasks that have not started, then sends today's knights out with Quick Dispatch. It comes back later for the tasks your generals could not take. It spends nothing unless you pick a Super Refresh.

Instances ▸ open an instance ▸ Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Ranger Knight Order ▸ ⚙, or click the row's name. It is a duty, not a plan task. It sets its own rhythm, so its second line reads Once a day · resends in 2h if tasks are left, with Super Refresh first or Super Refresh first, gems allowed added while a Super Refresh is picked.

The Ranger Knight Order window: the two shared scheduling controls, then the Super Refresh section.

Set it up

  1. On Duties ▸ Daily activities, switch Ranger Knight Order on. With Super Refresh left on Off that is all it needs.
  2. To raise the unstarted tasks to Orange quality first, open its window and pick Tickets, or Tickets + gems if gems may pay when the tickets run out.
  3. Optionally tick Run before plan tasks to have it done early in the day.
  4. Click Done.

The Ranger Knight Order window

One page, headed Schedule with the note the game decides how often this one runs — this is where it takes its turn. There is no How often: the visit books its own next turn from what is left on the board.

Run before plan tasks
Off by default. Off, it waits for a free moment. On, it goes ahead of the plan's next task the moment its turn comes round, ahead of the other duties waiting with it. It cannot make a turn arrive early, because this one runs on its own clock.
Retry when it fails
How many times a failed turn is tried again before it is left until its next window. It counts per game day, and the waits between tries grow. Range 1 to 10 tries a day; 1 means don't retry. Default: 3.
Super Refresh
A section with one three-way pill and a line under it saying what the pick does. Super Refresh re-rolls every task that has not started, up to Orange quality. The round does it once a game day, after collecting and before sending, and skips it when there is nothing to raise. Default: Off.
Off
Never touches Refresh. The line reads Tasks go out at the quality the game rolled.
Tickets
Pays in refresh tickets only. When the game prices the Refresh or the Super Refresh in gems, it is skipped and the tasks still go out. The line reads Raises every unstarted task to Orange once a game day, with tickets.
Tickets + gems
The same, and pays the gem price the game shows when the tickets run out. The line reads The same, paying gems when the tickets run out (20K for three tasks).
Done today / Not yet today
In the section heading, when the window is opened from an instance and a pick other than Off is on: whether today's Super Refresh is done.
Gems paused
While Tickets + gems is picked, the section turns to caution with Gems paused: the last gem-priced Refresh opened no window. Done lifts it. The game may have charged a plain refresh instead of a Super Refresh, so gems stay off until you click Done on this window again.
Reset
Puts the window back to its shipped defaults and closes it.
Reset records
On the footer line, beside a short note of what this duty has recorded (Nothing recorded yet when there is nothing). It forgets the duty's own record of its turns: whether it ran today, what it read, what it spent and any wait after a failure. It asks first, acts at once, and leaves the window open. Nothing in the game changes and your settings are kept. Greyed out when nothing is recorded.
Done
Saves everything in the window and closes it. The title-bar ✕ or Esc closes it without saving.

Like other daily activities, the row can show the game's own progress for this task beside its name when activity-reward claiming is on. See Daily activities.

How it runs

  1. It opens the Event Center, selects Limited and opens Ranger Knight Order, then waits for the board to finish drawing.
  2. If any task shows Claim, it taps it once; one tap collects the whole board. Collecting first matters, because an uncollected task still holds its generals.
  3. With Tickets or Tickets + gems picked, and only on the first visit of a game day, it presses Refresh, then Super Refresh in the window that opens, but only when the price shown is one you allowed. A price it cannot read, or a gem price on Tickets, closes the window and the knights still go out.
  4. It taps Quick Dispatch and checks the sheet opened.
  5. If Send is lit, it taps it and checks the sheet closed. If Send is grey, every knight that could go is already out and it closes the sheet.
  6. It books its next visit. With no task left waiting it comes back after the game reset. With a task still waiting for a general, it comes back in about two hours to collect what returned and send what the freed generals can take.
  7. It returns to the city or the world map it started on.

The row closes with a sentence naming what the visit did, for example Collected the rewards and sent the Knight Order out or Today's dispatch is already out. A day already sent is skipped, not a failure. A board that never loads fails the visit and it is tried again.

A Super Refresh spends. Tickets spends refresh tickets; Tickets + gems can spend a large number of gems when the tickets are gone. Both ship off. It never presses a plain Refresh.

Examples

Troubleshooting

It says today's dispatch is already out, but I didn't send it.
Send was grey when the bot opened Quick Dispatch, which is how the game shows every knight that could go is out. If rewards were waiting, it still collected them.
It comes back every two hours.
A task on the board is still waiting for a general, so the row checks again after the generals return. It stops when nothing is left waiting, or at the reset.
The section says Gems paused.
A gem-priced Refresh opened no refresh-type window, so gems are held off for Super Refresh until you click Done on this window. Check that the account has the Super Refresh privilege and that Remember this selection is not ticked in the game.
Nothing was refreshed although I picked Tickets.
Either every task had already started, the game priced the refresh in gems, or today's Super Refresh was already done. The run's Details say which.
It is switched on but never takes a turn.
Check that the Event Center card is switched on in Studio's library. Every Event Center round runs through it, so with it off none of them runs.
It says Ranger Knight Order isn't available right now.
The event was not on the Limited tab when the bot looked. Nothing was spent; it looks again on its next turn.
The run's Details say “The Knight Order board didn't load”.
The board stayed empty for about ten seconds. Nothing was sent; the duty retries by itself, up to Retry when it fails.
