Get started
Start it and watch it work
Press Start, answer two questions, and follow what Evonex does.
- Open the instance. It opens on Overview.
- Press Start.
- If a window called Needs setup before starting opens, read it. Press Open setup to go straight to the first thing to fix, or Start anyway to run whatever is ready.
- The first time, Evonex asks whether to add rest breaks. Choose Add rest breaks or Not now — you can change it later in the instance’s Settings.
- Watch the Activity Monitor: each run and each of its steps appears as it happens.
- 1Start / Stop Starts the account; while it runs, the same button stops it.
- 2Pause Holds the run at its next step and keeps the game open. Resume carries on from the same place.
- 3Now running What it is doing this moment.
- 4Activity Monitor Every run, newest first, with each step it took.
The two questions
- 1Cancel Starts nothing.
- 2Start anyway Starts with the gaps: whatever is ready runs, the rest waits until it is fixed. Not offered when the whole instance is blocked.
- 3Open setup Takes you to the first thing to fix.
- 1Not now Runs without breaks. You can add them later.
- 2Add rest breaks Adds human-like breaks — Evonex steps away for a while every few hours.
Watching the whole fleet
The Dashboard shows every instance on this PC on one page: what each is doing, its day so far and today’s runs. Click a row to open that instance.
Stopping
- Stop ends the run at its next step. A stop is never counted as a failure.
- Pause holds it with the game open; Resume carries on.
- Leaving the instance (the Instances button) does not stop it.
- Closing Evonex stops every instance. When you open Evonex again, press Start again.
Problems?
I pressed Start and nothing seems to happen.
Look at Now running: Idle means nothing is due this moment — duties wait for their time. The Activity Monitor shows the Start and every check it made.
It stopped by itself.
Open the Activity Monitor: the last run says why. A red Error status shows the reason when you point at it.
Start says the emulator must run at 540x960.
Set the emulator to 540 × 960 portrait, restart it and press Start again. See Set up your emulator.
A warning says “started — heads up”.
It started; something won’t run until you fix it. The Needs setup card on Overview lists it with a Fix button.
