Reading the interface

Themes, status colours, the notification bar and the jump palette.

Evonex shows the same information the same way on every screen. Once you know the status colours and where the shared strips live, any page reads at a glance.

Themes

Two looks ship, each with a dark and a light mode. Aurora is the rich look — soft glass panels and gentle motion. Standing Watch is a flat operations board — hairlines, stencil type and instant state, nothing glowing or floating. Pick the look under Settings ▸ Appearance (the Theme row), and switch dark or light either with the Appearance row there or with the sun / moon button in the title bar. The plate beside it reads DARK MODE or LIGHT MODE so you always know which is active.

Reduce motion (also under Settings ▸ Appearance) snaps every animation to its final frame — the same information, no movement. Standing Watch is already close to still by design.

Display

How large Evonex draws itself on this screen. It reads your monitor and Windows scaling and offers the size that ships for it — Recommended sets that, and a change needs Restart to apply.

Text recognition

Windows' own reader, which is how Evonex reads numbers and names out of the game. The pill says which language pack is ready; Re-check looks again after you install one, and Language settings opens where to do that.

Logs

Everything the bot has done. Pick a range and a scope, then Export… to get a file worth attaching to a report, or Open folder to look yourself. See Troubleshooting.

The strip along the bottom carries the version you are running, What's new for the release notes, and Check for updates.

This guide's screenshots follow your current theme and mode automatically — switch the look and every screenshot here updates to match, so the manual always shows the app exactly as you see it.

Status colours

An instance's status dot, pill and left rail share one colour vocabulary across the Dashboard, the Instances grid and the instance workspace:

Green — running.
Blue — ready to start, or on a rest break.
Orange — needs attention or is waiting: paused, recovering the game, yielded to you, in use by another instance, or needs setup before it can start.
Red — an error (the reason shows on the card).
Grey — stopped, offline, or no emulator connected.

A manual Stop is neutral, never a red failure — in the activity feed a deliberate stop shows a blue ⊘, while ✓ is a successful run and ✕ a failed one.

The notification bar

The one-line NOTIFICATIONS strip along the bottom of the window carries messages from the Evonex team — maintenance notices, update news and messages for your account. While anything is unread, the strip shows a count badge and how many new notifications are waiting.

Click the strip to open the full list, newest first — that batch keeps its NEW chips for the viewing, and opening the list counts as reading: the strip clears immediately. Read marks are kept on this computer, per account.

The jump palette

Press / anywhere (except while typing in a field) to open the jump palette: a compact list of every section with a short grid-ref code. Pick one to jump straight there — the quickest way to move around without the sidebar.
