Troop Healing

Heal your wounded troops, highest tier first, up to a number you choose.

What it does
Walks to the Hospital and heals your wounded troops, highest tier first, up to the number you choose. For a longer heal it then uses healing speedups, so the Hospital is free again.
Where
Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Troop healing. Click its name, or its settings button, then open the Task setup tab. It is not on the Add to plan shelf and has no card on Task setup.
You need
Your city map with the Hospital mapped (City Mapper). Wounded troops. Resources to pay for the heal. Healing speedups for the longer heals.
When it runs
Once a game day, unless you change it on the Schedule tab.

Troop Healing keeps your Hospital empty. You choose how many wounded troops to heal in each run, and what to do when a heal is already going.

Set it up

  1. Map the Hospital in City Mapper.
  2. Open your instance and go to Duties. Find Troop healing under Daily activities.
  3. Click its name to open its window. Open the Task setup tab.
  4. Set Troops to heal. Choose what to do If it's already healing. Click Done.
  5. Switch the row on. Like every daily activity, it starts off.
  6. Press Start if the instance is not running yet. Nothing runs until it is.
The Troop healing window, on its Task setup tab.
  1. 1Troops to heal Sets how many wounded troops one run heals, from 1 to 500,000.
  2. 2If it's already healing Chooses what Evonex does when the Hospital is already busy with a heal.
  3. 3Reset task settings Puts both settings back to the shipped ones.
  4. 4Reset records Forgets what the activity recorded about its turns, so it can run again.
  5. 5Done Saves both tabs and closes the window.

Settings

Troops to heal
How many wounded troops to heal in one run. Evonex works down the Hospital's list from the top, your highest tier first, and takes each type's whole wounded count until the number is met. If fewer are wounded, it heals them all. If your resources cover only part, it heals what they cover and says so. Type the number, or use the arrows, which step by 50. The range is 1 to 500,000. Default: 150 troops.
If it's already healing
The Hospital heals one batch at a time, so a heal you started blocks this one. Leave it alone does nothing, spends nothing and says what it found. Speed it up, then heal uses healing speedups to finish that heal, then heals your number. Speed it up only finishes that heal and stops. Neither speed-up choice spends gems. Default: Leave it alone.
Reset task settings
Puts both settings back to the shipped ones: 150 troops and Leave it alone. You confirm first, and the window closes. The Schedule tab is not affected.
Schedule tab
The tab has How often, Run before plan tasks, Come back every, Run cap, Retry when it fails and Reset schedule. They work the same on every daily activity. By default it runs Once a day, not before plan tasks, with 3 tries a day. See Daily activities.
Reset records
Forgets what this duty remembers about its own turns: whether it ran today, what it spent and any wait after a failure. It can then take another turn. Nothing in the game changes and your settings stay. The line beside the button says what is recorded, such as Had its turn today.
Done
Saves both tabs and closes the window. The ✕ in the corner, or Esc, closes it without saving.

How it runs

Rally Setter has its own heal settings. You find them inside Rally Setter, not here. See Rally Setter.
Healing spends resources, and healing speedups for the longer heals. A large Troops to heal can use many. Choosing a Speed it up option also spends speedups on a heal you started yourself.

Problems?

There is no Troop Healing card on Task setup.
That is by design. Troop Healing is a daily activity, so you set it up only on its row under Duties ▸ Daily activities.
The run says Couldn't reach the Hospital.
Map and calibrate the Hospital in City Mapper. The instance also needs its city map.
The run says The Hospital is already healing and nothing happened.
If it's already healing is on Leave it alone. Choose Speed it up, then heal to finish that heal and start yours.
The run says Healing 640 of 1k — ran out of resources.
Your city could pay for only part of the heal. Evonex healed what the resources covered.
The row says Healing 150 troops, not Healed.
The heal started but the speedups did not finish it. You are likely out of healing speedups. The heal still finishes on the game's own clock.
The run says Pressed Heal, but the Hospital never showed the heal.
The press may still have healed, because small heals can finish unseen. Evonex does not press again. The next turn tries again.
