Resource collecting
Tap the Warehouse’s collect bubble every few hours.
- What it does
- Taps the floating collect bubble above your Warehouse. One tap collects food, wood, stone, ore and gold. It opens no window.
- Where
- Instances ▸ your instance ▸ Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Resource collecting. Click the name, or the sliders button at the end of its row.
- You need
- The Warehouse mapped in City Mapper. The switch on and the instance running.
- When it runs
- Every 3 hours by default, at a free moment between your plan tasks.
Your Warehouse keeps producing. When something is ready, a collect bubble floats above it. Evonex brings the Warehouse into view — often it is already on screen — and taps the bubble.
This is not Resource gathering. That task sends marches out to gather from the world map. Resource collecting only collects what your own city has made.
Set it up
- Check that your Warehouse is on your city map. City Mapper shows it.
- Open the instance and click Duties. Switch Resource collecting on under Daily activities.
- Start the instance. To collect more or less often, click Resource collecting and change Come back every.
- 1How often Chooses between once a day and every few hours.
- 2Come back every Sets the hours between visits, counted from the last time it ran.
- 3Run cap Sets the most visits in one game day. No cap means as often as the interval says.
- 4Retry when it fails Sets how many times a failed turn is tried again.
- 5Reset schedule Puts this page back to its shipped settings and closes the window.
- 6Record line Says what Resource collecting has done today.
- 7Reset records Makes Resource collecting forget its turns, so it may run again today.
- 8Done Saves your changes and closes the window.
Settings
Resource collecting has no options of its own, only the Schedule page. It works like every daily activity’s schedule — Daily activities explains each control.
How often
Once a day or Every few hours. The Warehouse produces all day, so visiting every few hours collects more often. Default: Every few hours.
Come back every
Shown with Every few hours: 1–24 hours, counted from the last time it actually ran. Default: 3 hours.
Run cap
Shown with Every few hours. It reads Use up to … per Game day: the most visits in one game day, 0–99. At 0 it reads No cap, and Evonex visits as often as the interval says. Default: No cap.
Run before plan tasks
Appears only if you switch How often to Once a day. On, Evonex collects before your plan’s first task of the day. Default: off.
Retry when it fails
How many times a failed turn is tried again before it waits for its next window, 1–10. 1 means do not retry. Default: 3 tries a day.
Reset schedule
Puts this page back to its shipped settings and closes the window. It asks no question.
Record line, Reset records, Done
At the bottom of the window. The record line says what Resource collecting has done today. Reset records makes it forget its turns, so it may run again today. It asks first, and nothing changes in the game. Done saves and closes. The ✕ or Esc closes without saving.
How it runs
- Evonex goes to your city and looks for the collect bubble. If it sees the bubble, it needs no walk. Otherwise it walks to the Warehouse.
- It taps the bubble only when it has seen it. Without a bubble, the same tap would open the Warehouse window instead.
- It checks that the bubble is gone and that the Warehouse window did not open. If a window did open, Evonex closes it.
- In the Activity Monitor on Overview the row is Collect resources. It ends with Collected the city’s resources or Nothing to collect yet. Both count as a good run.
- The small gift beside Resource collecting’s name shows whether the game counted it. See Claim activity rewards.
Resource collecting is free. It opens no window, asks no question and spends nothing.
Problems?
It keeps saying “Nothing to collect yet”.
That is normal between production cycles. The bubble needs time to fill again, so a very short interval mostly finds nothing. The shipped 3 hours is a middle ground.
Can I use Once a day instead?
Yes. But the Warehouse keeps producing all day, so visiting every few hours collects it more often.
The Activity Monitor says it couldn’t reach the Warehouse.
The Warehouse is probably not mapped, or something covered the screen. Check the Warehouse in City Mapper.
