Use it to

Keep a live list of targets on your server’s world map for Rally Setter and Solo Hunt, and browse everything Boss Radar finds.

You need

A server that Boss Radar reads for you. It shows as a card on the Boss Radar tab.

Coordex lists what stands on your server’s world map: boss monsters, resource tiles, subordinate cities, collectables and event targets. You can browse them, sort them by distance from your keep, copy them, and feed them to Rally Setter and Solo Hunt.

The coordinates come from Boss Radar, a map reader that scans each server on its own machines. This PC scans nothing. When you turn on Go live for a server, Evonex follows Boss Radar and fills your boards with what it finds.

Set up your first board

1. Open Coordex ▸ Boards and click New board. Name it — for example Server 2200 bosses — and click Save.
2. Open Server and pick your server. The list shows the number only, like 2200.
3. Leave Type on Boss monsters. The other types list resource tiles, subordinate cities, collectables and event targets.
4. Click Go live. It turns into Live, and a line under it says what Boss Radar is doing.
5. Click Set Home, type your keep’s X and Y, and click Set Home again. Rows then show their distance from your keep, nearest first.
6. In Rally Setter or Solo Hunt, pick this board as the task’s Coordex board.

Read the coordinates

1. 1All · Targets Switches between every coordinate on the board and only the ones that count as targets.
2. 2Any time Shows only coordinates seen within the time you pick. It hides rows and deletes nothing.
3. 3Copy list Copies the rows shown as text, one line for each.
4. 4Home Sets your keep as the point distances are measured from. With a Home set, rows show their distance and the nearest comes first.
5. 5Add coord Adds a boss that you spotted yourself.
6. 6The skull Strikes a boss you saw gone. The row stays, greyed out, and tasks skip it. Click it again to undo.
7. 7Rally Says only a rally is set on this boss. A Solo pill means a single march. No pill means either.

9. 9Live Says where the row comes from: a fresh Boss Radar row.

Other kinds of find show a status pill instead. A resource tile reads Full or Partly gathered. A subordinate city reads Occupied or Unoccupied. An event target reads Occupied or Free. Those boards have no Add coord.

Add a coord by hand

Use Add coord for a boss you spotted yourself. It joins the board as a Manual row. Adding the same tile again updates it.

• Kill mode starts at the level’s own default, such as Rally for a summoned boss. On a level that only a single march can attack, like a Goblin, it is set to Solo and can’t be changed.
• A name that is not in the monster library saves as a custom pin. A line says so, and Level and Kill mode go away.
• X and Y must each be between 1 and 1200. The world map is that many tiles across.

Choose what counts as a target

Click Track to pick the bosses this board treats as targets. Pick a whole boss with All, or single levels. Select shown picks everything the search and the level filter show. Leave it empty to count every recognised boss. Other types have their own picker, with chips such as Type and Level for resource tiles.

Show only what was seen lately

Click Any time, the clock button, and click a mark on the ruler: 1m, 5m, 1h, 12h, 24h and others, or Any. The button then reads Last 5 min or the like. The list and Copy list follow it. It only hides rows: nothing is deleted, and nothing a task reads changes. Evonex remembers the choice for each type, and Explore uses the same one.

Turn servers on and off

Open the Boss Radar tab. Each card is a server that Boss Radar reads for you. Click a card to open Explore for that server.

Keep it fresh in Settings

The Settings tab has a Freshness card. It lists each server with Live, Preparing or Not reading, when it was last updated (updated 3m ago) and its stale window (stale ~5h).

A find that Boss Radar has not seen again within a server’s stale window is struck through, and tasks skip it. Nothing outlives 24 hours, except subordinate cities, which are permanent.

Goblins

A Goblin is a monster that only a single march can attack, because it has no Alliance War button. Boss Radar reads Goblins as Solo. Rally Setter never takes them, and Solo Hunt hunts them. In a boss pool, Rally Setter’s editor marks Goblin levels Solo only.

Boards belong to the PC they were made on

Each PC keeps its own boards. A board you make on the Gaming PC is not on the Office PC, and nothing another PC does changes it. Evonex keeps a backup of each board’s settings — its name, server, targets and Home — but never its coordinates. After a reinstall, Boss Radar fills the board again. A task finds its board by name on the PC it runs on, so make the board on the PC that runs the task. See Your PCs.

How Rally Setter and Solo Hunt use a board

• Each task reads one board, picked by name in its settings.
• Rally Setter takes Rally rows and rows with no pill. Solo Hunt takes Solo rows and rows with no pill, and never a Viking or a summoned boss.
• Struck and stale rows are skipped. When a task spends a coordinate, the row leaves the board, and that tile stays off it for an hour.
• Before Start, the readiness check looks at the board. With no live targets on it, it asks you to turn on Go live for the board’s server.
