City Mapper
Map your Alliance City once so the bot can walk to any building.
City Mapper teaches the bot where the buildings sit in your Alliance City. You map each building once on a live emulator frame; afterwards any task that has to open a building — the Keep, the Tavern, a training yard — drives the in-city map there on its own. Nothing is hard-coded: the bot recognises the art you captured and steers the view until the target is on screen.
Which tasks need a mapped city
Several tasks can only run once the buildings they use are mapped. Each instance points at one City map profile in its Settings; if a required building is missing, the task's Readiness row flags it before Start.
Add your city and scan it
- Open City Mapper from the sidebar, click the city and device chip at the top of the stage (or press Ctrl+K) and click Add city. Name the profile (for example the account or server) and, if you like, note its culture. This comes first — until a city exists there is nowhere to put what a scan sees, so Scan city and Re-align will just tell you to add one.
- In the same panel, set the emulator's ADB port under Device, then close it and click Scan city. The bot connects and zooms the map out to its farthest stop — the reference every coordinate is measured against. The button reads Scanning… until it's ready.
- The live city fills the stage. Swipe with the on-screen pad (Controls) to bring a building into view, select it in the buildings list, and map it (below).
- City and device - click it or press Ctrl+K
- Your saved cities
- Emulator ADB port
- Scan city
- Buildings - All / To-do filter
- Controls - swipe pad
- Back to the list (or press Esc)
- Previous / next building - Alt+Left, Alt+Right
- The progress strip stays put - click any square to jump
- The four steps, with what each one recorded
The layout
- City and device (top left) — one chip states which city you are mapping and which emulator it is running on, because that is the pair to check before every scan. Its lamp is the device: hollow before you connect, green while the session is live, red if the last attempt failed. Click it — or press Ctrl+K — to open the panel holding your saved cities, Add city, Rename, Delete and the ADB port. A filled dot beside a city means it is calibrated and ready to navigate.
- The stage — the live emulator frame. The floating swipe pad (toggle it with Controls) pans the real map, and is the only way to move the view that the mapper can measure; Swipe to point centres wherever you click; Hide shot pulls back to see every placed pin at once.
- Buildings (right) — the panel shows one thing at a time. With nothing selected it is the full list, searchable, with an All / To-do filter and live counts. Pick a building and the same panel becomes that building's four steps, at full height. The progress strip and the count above it never move, so you can always see how far through you are — click any square in the strip to jump straight to that building.
- Working on a building — the arrows step to the previous or next building (Alt+Left / Alt+Right), and they follow the filter: with To-do on, next means the next one that still needs work, so you can map a whole city without going back to the list. The chevron at the top left — or Esc — returns to it when you want it. One big button at the bottom always names the single next action.
Map each building, one step at a time
Select a building, then just follow the button at the bottom of the inspector — it always names the one next step: Place on the frame → Capture building art → Mark ready → Go to building. Work down the To-do list and the whole city maps in a rhythm.
- Place — click the building's spot on the frame so the bot knows where it sits.
- Art — Capture building art drags a crop of the building; the bot matches that crop to find it on screen. + Add another state captures it under construction or at night. Weak or look-alike art is flagged so you can re-cut a cleaner crop.
- Verify — Mark ready is the gate: only a building marked ready is one a task will navigate to.
- Go to — Go to building drives the live view to it exactly as a task would. Go to & open also taps it and confirms it opened the right building by matching the pop-up's verify icon — the same check a task uses.
