Reward claims
Garuda Trial
Claim the Garuda's Treasure rewards on Thursday and Friday, with a last look before the event ends.
- What it does
- On the Garuda Trial page, makes sure the Garuda's Treasure tab is open and presses every green Claim. It comes back while rewards are still in progress.
- Where
- Instances ▸ your instance ▸ Duties ▸ Reward claims ▸ Garuda Trial. It is a row on Duties, not a plan task.
- You need
- The Garuda Trial event running in the game. Rewards unlock as your alliance defeats Garudas.
- When it runs
- Only on Thursday and Friday. The first look comes a few hours after the event starts (Check every, 3 hours by default). It repeats while rewards are in progress, and a last look comes 30 minutes before the event ends.
Each Garuda Trial reward unlocks when your alliance has defeated a set number of Junior, Senior or Excellent Garudas. Evonex looks at the page on a schedule and presses every green Claim. It never presses Summon, which spends Garuda's feathers, and it never presses Challenge.
Thursday and Friday are game days. They run from the game's daily reset on Thursday to the reset on Saturday, not from your PC's midnight. The times on the row are your PC's clock.
Set it up
- Open your instance, click Duties, then Reward claims.
- Switch Garuda Trial ON. The default settings work as they are.
- Optional: click its name and change Check every if you want more or fewer looks while rewards are in progress.
- 1Run before plan tasks Sends this row ahead of the plan's next task when its turn comes round.
- 2Retry when it fails Sets how many tries a failed turn gets in one game day.
- 3Check every Sets the hours between looks while rewards are still in progress.
- 4Reset schedule Puts the window back to its defaults and closes it.
- 5Reset records Forgets what this row has recorded about its own turns. It asks first.
- 6Done Saves the window and closes it.
Settings
The window has one page, headed Schedule, with the note “when and how often this duty runs”.
Run before plan tasks
Decides who goes first when the plan is busy. Off: the row waits for a free moment. On: when its turn comes round, it goes ahead of the plan's next task, and ahead of the other duties waiting with it. It can't make a turn come early, because this row follows the game's own clock. Default: Off.
Retry when it fails
How many tries a failed turn gets in one game day. The waits between tries grow, and after the last try the row rests until its next window. 1 means don't retry. Range: 1 to 10. Default: 3 tries a day.
Check every
How long between looks while rewards are still in progress, from 1 to 24 hours. It counts on Thursday and Friday only, the event's two days. The first look comes this long after the event starts. A last look always comes 30 minutes before the event ends, and the looks stop once every reward is claimed. Default: 3 hours.
Reset schedule
Puts every control in this window back to its defaults and closes it. It doesn't ask first.
Reset records
Forgets what Evonex has noted about this row's own turns, including the note that every reward is claimed. The row then answers as if the event had no visit yet. It asks first, acts at once, and leaves the window open. Nothing in the game changes and your settings stay. Saving the window does not forget that note. The note beside the button says what is recorded.
Done
Saves everything in the window and closes it. The ✕ in the title bar, or Esc, closes the window without saving.
What the status chip says
Every Garuda Trial chip is green, even on days when the event isn't on. Waiting for the event is the schedule working, not a fault.
- 1Garuda Trial Opens the settings window when you click it.
- 2Second line Says it works on Thursday and Friday, how often it looks, and that it takes a last look before the event ends.
- 3Status chip Shows when the next look is. It stays green, because waiting is the schedule working.
- Next check Thu 15:30: Saturday to Wednesday. The event isn't on, and the chip says when the first look will be.
- Next check 15:30: Thursday, after the reset and before the first look. After a visit it shows the next look while rewards are still in progress.
- Last look 12:00: a look that would land too close to the end of the event becomes one last look before it ends.
- Last look taken: the last look is done, and some rewards were left.
- All claimed: every Garuda Trial reward is claimed. Evonex checks again next week.
- Checks again next Thu 15:30: the same as Next check. The chip words it this way when the next look is about a week away.
Point at the chip to read the reason in full.
How it runs
- When it looks. Never from Saturday to Wednesday. Nothing can be ready at the Thursday reset, so the first look comes Check every hours later (3 by default). After that it looks again after the same number of hours, for as long as rewards are still in progress. It keeps going across the Friday reset.
- The last look. A look that would land close to the end of the event is folded into one last look 30 minutes before it ends. It waits for a free moment and never cuts a running task short.
- When it rests. Once every reward is claimed, it does nothing more until next week's first look.
- A visit. It opens the Event Center, picks the Activities tab and opens Garuda Trial. The page has three tabs and opens on a random one, so Evonex makes sure the Garuda's Treasure tab is selected. It taps the tab at most twice and checks it took. Then it waits for the top of the list to load: “Waiting for the Garuda's Treasure list to load…”.
- The list sorts itself: green Claim buttons first (ready), then grey Claim buttons (still in progress), then Claimed. Evonex presses the first green Claim, looks again to see the row change, and repeats. If the game swallows three taps in a row, the visit fails and tries again later.
- Only Claim is ever pressed. Evonex never presses Summon or Challenge, and it spends nothing.
- A visit ends with one of four lines: “Claimed the ready Garuda rewards — more are still in progress”, “Claimed every Garuda reward”, “No Garuda rewards are ready yet” or “Every Garuda reward is already claimed”. The last two end as skipped.
- If the event isn't in the Activities list, the run ends as skipped with “Garuda Trial isn't available right now”. Evonex looks again the next game day.
Problems?
The row says “Next check Thu …” on a day with no event.
That is normal. Garuda Trial only looks on Thursday and Friday.
The run says “No Garuda rewards are ready yet”.
Your alliance hasn't reached the next milestone. Evonex looks again after Check every hours.
Rewards are ready, but the row hasn't claimed them yet.
It only looks every Check every hours. Lower the number if you want it to look more often. The lowest is 1 hour.
The run says “Garuda Trial isn't available right now” on a Thursday or Friday.
The event wasn't in the Activities list when Evonex looked. It looks again the next game day.
The run says “The Garuda's Treasure list didn't load”.
The list stayed empty while Evonex waited for it. Nothing was claimed, and the row tries again after its normal wait.
