Task duties

Common tasks

Seven jobs you set once — the egg board, daily shopping, the lucky apple, the Research Factory queue, the Rally Monthly Card's spawns, transports to another keep and the Viking Challenge.

The Common tasks card holds work that is not part of the daily round: jobs you set once and the bot fits in when it can. Each row keeps a clock of its own — the cooldowns the game prints, a production queue that empties when it empties, a single run you arm by hand, or the schedule you give it.

Find it at Instances ▸ open an instance ▸ Duties ▸ Common tasks. These rows are duties, not plan tasks, and every one ships off. In Standing Watch the card is the fourth band of the duty sheet, §4 Common tasks, with one ruled line per row.

Set it up

  1. Open the instance's Duties tab and press Common tasks on the jump rail.
  2. Open a row with its ⚙, or click its name, and answer its own questions — which eggs, what to buy, which apple, which material, which keep to send to. Press Done.
  3. Flip the row's switch to ON.

The rows

Seven rows, in alphabetical order. Each links to the page that covers its own options in full. A row whose window still needs an answer reads Held, with the reason after its second line.

Crazy Eggs
Smashes the Event Center eggs you picked with the hammers you have, spends the day's free Lucky Hammer, and comes back when the soonest cooldown it read runs out. It never buys hammers. Second line: Whenever the game says it is ready. Window: one page with Run before plan tasks, Retry when it fails and the Egg board. See Crazy Eggs.
Daily Purchases
Buys the items you pick from the in-game Store (paid in gems) and the Alliance Shop's Daily Sale and Weekly Sale (paid in Alliance Points), topping each up to your number. Second line: how many items each shop buys, then the schedule — for example Store 4 · Alliance Shop 6 · Once per game day. Window: Schedule and Setup. See Daily Purchases.
Dwarf's Lucky Apple
Wishes on the apple you picked, in the biggest batches your wishing coins afford, and stops when the coins run out — it never buys coins with gems. It runs once, then waits for you to press Reset run. Second line: Runs once, then waits for a reset. Window: one page with Run before plan tasks, Retry when it fails, Wish on which apple and Wishes per visit. See Dwarf's Lucky Apple.
Produce material
Walks to the Research Factory and queues the material you picked into every slot the game accepts. It spends nothing. Starts: every 6 hours. Window: Schedule and Task setup (the material board). See Produce Material.
Rally Monthly Card Spawn
Spends the Rally Monthly Card's daily spawns on the bosses you list — only the first group with a boss in today's event — whenever Coordex shows none of them within about 150 km of the board's Home, and posts each spawn to your Coordex board. Second line: the groups and bosses, the day's spawns, the board, its hours and the alliance-chat share — for example 2 groups of 2 bosses · 8 spawns a day · Boss sweep · 18:00–23:30 · + alliance chat. Its chip says what it is waiting for — Boss up, Waiting for scan, Spent today — or its next look, and the row reads Held while its board has no Home. Window: one card, its own schedule included. See Rally Monthly Card Spawn.
Transport Resources
Sends the resources you pick from this city to another keep, one full transport per free march, until your number is sent or the daily transport limit is reached. Second line: what, where and how many, then the schedule — for example Food and Stone to Main · 5 transports a run · Once per game day · around 20:00. Window: Schedule and Setup. See Transport Resources.
Viking Challenge
The Event Center's Viking Challenge, set up on its own card — see Viking Challenge.

Rows without a schedule

Crazy Eggs and Dwarf's Lucky Apple have no How often. Each window opens on one page headed Schedule, and its hint says who decides when the row runs.

  3. Retry when it fails
  4. Egg board
  5. Reset

Crazy Eggs' hint
the game decides how often this one runs — this is where it takes its turn. The egg board prints each egg's cooldown, so every visit comes back when the next egg you picked is ready. If a visit could read nothing, the row looks again within the hour.
Dwarf's Lucky Apple's hint
it runs once, then waits for you to reset it — this is where it takes its turn. Wishing spends coins you may be saving, so the row takes one turn and then stops.
Run before plan tasks
On both rows, off by default. On Dwarf's Lucky Apple an armed run goes before the plan's first task. On Crazy Eggs it cannot bring a visit forward — the game's cooldown decides when — but once an egg is ready the row goes ahead of the plan's next task and of other duties waiting with it.
Retry when it fails
1–10 tries a day; the waits between tries grow, and 1 means don't retry. Default: 3.
Wish on which apple
Dwarf's Lucky Apple only: Wealth — 1 coin, Joy — 3 coins or Blessing — 5 coins, the price per wish. Default: Wealth — 1 coin.
Wishes per visit
Dwarf's Lucky Apple only: 1–9999 wishes for its one run. Default: 10.
Reset
Puts the whole page back to its shipped defaults and closes the window.
Record line, Reset records, Done
The footer every duty window shares — see Daily activities. On Dwarf's Lucky Apple the record line leads with ran its one turn once it has spent, and Reset records re-arms it just as Reset run does.

Reset run

Dwarf's Lucky Apple's row grows a Reset run button, just left of its ⚙, the moment its one run has spent coins. That day its chip reads Done 14:32; after the reset it reads Done.

Reset run

The confirmation
Titled Reset run: Let Dwarf's Lucky Apple run again? Its next turn spends for real — as much as its card asks for. Nothing happens until that turn comes round. Reset it re-arms the row; Cancel leaves it spent. The switch and your settings are untouched.

How it runs

Examples

Troubleshooting

Dwarf's Lucky Apple ran once and stopped.
That is how it works: one run, then it waits. Press Reset run on its row when you want another.
There is no Reset run button.
It appears only after the run has actually spent coins. Until then the row is still armed — if the event was not running or you had no coins, it tries again the next game day.
Crazy Eggs has no How often.
The egg board prints each egg's cooldown, and the row comes back exactly when the next egg you picked is ready. Its second line says so: Whenever the game says it is ready.
Produce material did nothing.
Open its ⚙ ▸ Task setup. If it says Nothing picked yet - the task has nothing to do until you pick one., pick a material. Also check the Research Factory is mapped in City Mapper; Overview ▸ Needs setup lists the row if it is not.
Rally Monthly Card Spawn is on but never spawns.
Read its chip, then open its ⚙: the status line names what the card still needs — a board, a Home in Coordex, a boss. Otherwise the Activity monitor says why each boss was passed over — see Rally Monthly Card Spawn.
Daily Purchases or Transport Resources says Held.
Its card is missing an answer: nothing picked to buy (or both shops off), or no keep or nothing to send. The reason is after the row's second line, and the Setup tab's status line says the same — see Daily Purchases and Transport Resources.
Common tasks wait while other duties run.
Only when several duties are ready at the same moment — this card goes last in that tie. A row whose own clock says it is due still gets its turn between plan tasks.
