Daily activities
Labor
Put your captives to work in the Prison, for free.
- What it does
- Puts a batch of your captives to work in the Prison. The game pays out resources for it.
- Where
- Instances ▸ your instance ▸ Duties ▸ Daily activities ▸ Labor. Click the name, or the sliders button at the end of its row.
- You need
- The Prison mapped in City Mapper, and enough captives for a full batch. The switch on and the instance running.
- When it runs
- Once a day, at a free moment between your plan tasks.
Evonex walks to the Prison, opens Captives and presses Labor on the batch the game has already selected. The game has its own cooldown between batches, and it shows that cooldown only inside a pop-up. So Evonex taps Labor to find out. It only ever uses the free Labor button.
Set it up
- Check that your Prison is on your city map. City Mapper shows it.
- Open the instance and click Duties. Switch Labor on under Daily activities.
- Start the instance. The shipped settings suit most players. To change the timing, click Labor to open its window.
- 1How often Chooses between once a day and every few hours.
- 2Run before plan tasks Puts this activity ahead of your plan’s first task of the day.
- 3Retry when it fails Sets how many times a failed turn is tried again.
- 4Reset schedule Puts this page back to its shipped settings and closes the window.
- 5Record line Says what Labor has done today.
- 6Reset records Makes Labor forget its turns, so it may run again today.
- 7Done Saves your changes and closes the window.
Settings
Labor has no options of its own, only the Schedule page. It works like every daily activity’s schedule — Daily activities explains each control.
How often
Once a day or Every few hours. One visit a day takes one batch. The game allows more than one batch a day, so choose Every few hours and a matching Come back every to send more. Default: Once a day.
Run before plan tasks
Shown with Once a day. Off, Evonex sends the captives when it has free time. On, it sends them before your plan’s first task of the day. Default: off.
Retry when it fails
How many times a failed turn is tried again before it waits for the next game day, 1–10. 1 means do not retry. Default: 3 tries a day.
Reset schedule
Puts this page back to its shipped settings and closes the window. It asks no question.
Record line, Reset records, Done
At the bottom of the window. The record line says what Labor has done today. Reset records makes it forget its turns, so it may run again today. It asks first, and nothing changes in the game. Done saves and closes. The ✕ or Esc closes without saving.
How it runs
- Evonex walks to the Prison and opens Captives.
- It looks at the Labor button. If it is grey, you have fewer captives than a full batch, and Evonex stops without tapping anything.
- Otherwise it taps Labor, and a confirmation pop-up opens. A free Labor button there means no cooldown is running. Evonex presses it, then waits for the pop-up to change to Clear Labor CD. That proves the batch went to work.
- If Clear Labor CD is already showing, a cooldown is running. Evonex stops.
- It backs out of every window it opened. It never presses Clear Labor CD or Release.
- In the Activity Monitor on Overview the row is Put the captives to labor. It ends with Sent the captives to labor, The captives are still resting — labor is on cooldown or Not enough captives to put to labor.
- The small gift beside Labor’s name shows whether the game counted it. See Claim activity rewards.
Labor is free. Evonex never presses Clear Labor CD, which costs gems, or Release, which spends your captives.
Problems?
It keeps saying the captives are still resting.
That is normal between batches. The game shows its cooldown only inside the pop-up, so Evonex finds out by tapping. Each check costs one short walk.
It says there are not enough captives.
The Labor button is grey because you hold fewer captives than a full batch. Capture more, and Evonex sends them on a later turn.
Can it spend gems or release my captives?
No. It never presses either button.
The Activity Monitor says it couldn’t reach the Prison.
The Prison is probably not mapped, or something covered the screen. Check the Prison in City Mapper.
