Task duties

Protection

Keep a bubble on the keep, and decide how the account behaves during war events.

The Protection card is first on the Duties tab because it is true whether or not the account is working. It holds two rows: Bubble the keep, and a War events settings row.

Bubble the keep

This duty keeps a truce bubble on your keep and renews it before it expires, so the account is never caught open. It reads the countdown off the game itself — it never assumes a bubble is up.

The Bubble the keep settings window.
Always bubbled
Keep a bubble up at all times, rather than only when you ask for one.
Renew before expiry
How far ahead of the countdown running out to put the next one up. The default leaves a margin rather than cutting it fine.
Which items may be used
The truce tiers this duty may spend — 8 hours, 24 hours, 3 days, 7 days. It uses what you allow and nothing else.
Gems
Whether a bubble may ever be bought with gems. It ships never, and a shield you did not agree to pay for is the one thing this card will not do.
The same reading appears on the Protection instrument at the top of the Plan tab. Both come from one formatter, so the card and the row can never tell you different things about the same keep.

War events

The second row is not an activity — it is how this account should behave while the server is at war. Gathering and relic marches sitting on the open map are free points for the other side, so they are held for the whole of SvS, starting with the purge.

Hold through the Kill Event too
Extend the same hold across the Kill Event weekend.
Purge lead time
How many hours before SvS begins to stop sending marches out.
Call marches home
Recall marches already out when the hold begins. The control says plainly that it is not live yet.
