Marching tasks
Solo Hunt
Attack bosses from a Coordex board with a single march — the same slots and boss pools as Rally Setter, one march at a time.
Solo Hunt attacks bosses with a single march of yours instead of an Alliance War rally. It takes boss coordinates from a Coordex board, finds each boss on the World Map, opens it, checks the boss's name on its popup, presses the popup's Attack and sends the march you gave that boss. It is the sibling of Rally Setter: the same slots, the same boss pools, the same board, stamina and Auto heal — one march per boss instead of a 5-minute rally.
Where: Instances ▸ open an instance ▸ Task setup ▸ Solo Hunt. Solo Hunt is a plan task, like Rally Setter: it is switched on in the task library, so it is offered in Add to plan on the Tasks card of Duties — but it only runs on an instance whose plan you add it to. It runs whenever one of its marches is free.
How it differs from Rally Setter
One march, not a rally. Each boss is attacked with the popup's Attack; there is no rally window and no 5-minute wait, so a slot is free again as soon as its march is home.
It takes Solo and Both rows, never Rally rows. In Coordex every boss row has a Kill mode — Solo, Rally or Both. Solo Hunt hunts the Solo and Both rows; Rally Setter hunts the Rally and Both rows. A boss marked Both can go to whichever task reaches it first.
The pools are shared. A boss pool is the same list whichever card you open it from; edit it from Solo Hunt and Rally Setter sees the change too.
It skips Rally-only levels. Every Viking, every summoned boss, and every level the Monsters library does not hold is Rally only: a single march cannot attack it. Solo Hunt never sends a march at one, even when it sits in a pool it uses — it leaves them for Rally Setter.
It reads the boss first. The name on the boss popup is checked against the boss the board promised before Attack is pressed.
It gives up sooner. Three popups in a run it cannot read, or three targets in a row it cannot open, end the run as failed.
Both count against your march slots. Solo Hunt and Rally Setter each use only the slots on their own card, and each counts the marches the other has out, so running both on one instance never sends more marches than the game allows.

The Solo Hunt form — the same firing line as Rally Setter, worded for a single march. Lane III is POOL EMPTY because every boss in its pool is Rally only.
Set it up
In Coordex, make sure a board covers your server and is collecting bosses. Give the board a Home if you want to limit how far the marches go. Rows you want hunted solo should be Solo or Both.
In the game, save the march presets you want to hunt with. A slot you set up entirely on its lane needs no in-game preset.
Open Instances ▸ your instance ▸ Task setup and click the Solo Hunt card.
Under 02 — HUNTING GROUND, pick your board in the Coordex board drop-down on Board & limits.
Under 01 — SLOTS, click + Add slot in the ghost lane and answer the new lane's PRESET, GENERALS, TROOPS and BOSS POOL cells exactly as on Rally Setter. Pick a pool that holds bosses a single march can take.
Repeat for every march you want out at the same time, up to six. Each finished lane reads READY.
Optionally switch on Stamina, set Max distance and Hunts per run, and set up Auto heal.
Click Save changes at the top right, then add Solo Hunt from Add to plan on Duties if it is not in the plan yet.
The form
The page is Rally Setter's firing line: the slots as lanes stacked in the order a coordinate asks them, hanging from the spine, each lane's march time a bar on one shared time scale, + Add slot in the ghost lane, and Board & limits — the map chart drawn to scale — beside Stamina. Every control works as it does on Rally Setter, which documents each one and each popup in full — the Preset, Generals and Troops popups, the Boss pool popup and editor, the level picker, and When to heal / What to heal. The table below lists every control on the Solo Hunt form, and what is different about it here.
Hunt bosses solo with Attack — from a Coordex board.
The line under the title. All tasks at the top left goes back to the Task setup grid; Save changes appears at the top right once the form differs from what is saved.
Slots
The card title; pointing at it says One slot is one march. Six is every march the game will send at once.
Clear on Stop
On: when you press Stop, every lane's track resets and the next run finds out from the game which marches are still out. Off: the tracks keep counting. No march is recalled either way. Default: on.
Column heads and the spine
SLOT · PRESET · GENERALS · TROOPS · BOSS POOL over the stack, and the spine down the left, lighting the path to the first free lane that can send — as on Rally Setter.
A lane
The numeral (I, II, III …), ASKED FIRST on the lane that takes the next coordinate, the state word, the four cells, the track, then Ask earlier, Ask later, Sit this slot out — it keeps its setup. and Remove slot.
State word
READY, NOT SET, SAME PRESET, NO POOL, POOL EMPTY, MISSING POOL or OFF, as on Rally Setter — with one more reason for POOL EMPTY: every boss in the pool is Rally only, and the track says All Rally only. While the Monsters library has not been read it says Library not loaded.
PRESET · GENERALS · TROOPS
Which in-game march preset the March screen loads, who leads the march and what it carries. Each cell opens the same popup as on Rally Setter.
BOSS POOL
The pool this slot hunts, for example Solo bosses · 4 bosses, led by the faces of its first bosses — a face Solo Hunt will never hunt, every ranked level of it Rally only, is drawn dim. It opens the Boss pool popup; there, each pool's summary adds · 2 rally only when some of its ranks hold levels Solo Hunt skips, or · every boss Rally only — nothing to hunt when all of them do. On a lane whose pool is all Rally only, this is the outlined next cell.
The track
AT REST, SITTING OUT, OUT (Free again in …), COOLDOWN, GENS OUT or PARKED, with a ✕ on OUT and COOLDOWN to forget that march's timer. Here the countdown is the march there and back and a few seconds for the troops to settle — there is no rally window in it, and the ruler under the lanes counts only now, +5m, +1h.
+ Add slot
In the ghost lane: adds one blank lane reading NOT SET. Greyed out at six slots. With no slots the ghost lane reads No slots yet — Solo Hunt has nothing to send. Add one for each march you want out at the same time, up to 6.
Notes at the foot of the card
A lamp and a sentence about something a lane cannot say for itself, worded for hunts — for example Slot III: “Summoned only” has nothing a solo march can hunt — every boss in it is Rally only.
Board & limits
Card subtitle Where it hunts, how far and how many: the map chart, the board and the two limits, with the doctrine as its footer.
Map chart
The hunting ground drawn to scale — the map, the board's Home and the Max distance disc round it — reading FROM HOME, WHOLE MAP, ANY DISTANCE, or a NO HOME or NO BOARD stamp.
Coordex board
The board Solo Hunt hunts, with — none — first, the Home chip, and Boards live in Coordex → Boards. Required. Only the board's Solo and Both rows are hunted. Default: — none —.
Max distance
Pointing at it says Only Solo and Both coordinates on this board are hunted, and only within this many km of the board's Home.0 (shown as ∞) means any distance. Greyed out while the board has no Home. Default: 0.
Hunts per run
End the run after sending this many hunts (Stand down after sending this many hunts in a run. 0 = no cap.). 0 (shown as ∞) means no cap; up to 999. Only marches that really left count. Default: 0.
Doctrine
The footer of Board & limits, restating the setup — for example board Server 480 bosses · within 250 km of Home · no hunt cap. There is no length per hunt to state.
Stamina · Refill · Consume order
As on Rally Setter: on, the bot uses a stamina pack when the game says there isn't enough stamina and presses March again, never buying one with gems. Refill: Minimum or Maximum. Consume order: Largest → Smallest or Smallest → Largest; both show only while the switch is on. Default: off, Minimum, Largest → Smallest.
Auto heal
Subtitle Heals your wounded troops between hunts. The switch, the status line (for example Counts from Start. First heal every 45 min or 6 hunts.) and the WHEN and WHAT rows work as on Rally Setter, counting hunts instead of rallies. Default: off; WHEN Every 45 min or 6 hunts, WHAT Default selected.
Auto heal spends resources on every visit and finishes its heals with healing speedups; Stamina spends stamina packs. Both ship switched off.
Rally-only bosses in a shared pool
Because a pool is shared with Rally Setter, it may well hold bosses only a rally can take. You do not need a separate pool for Solo Hunt: it simply skips those levels, and the pool editor shows you which ones they are when you open it from the Solo Hunt card.

Hunt levels
The level picker for a boss with many levels reads … — hunt levels, with bands such as Hunt 1 – 10; it works as on Rally Setter.
Rally Setter's editor carries none of these marks. The level picker, ranking, Pools, Clear, Delete pool, Cancel and Done are described on Boss Pools and Rally Setter.
How it runs
Before it starts. Needs setup checks the board is picked and still exists, that it has live Solo or Both rows a single march can take, and that at least one armed slot has a boss in its pool that is not Rally only.
A pool whose every boss is Rally only is skipped straight away, with one row in the Activity Monitor: Pool Summoned only — Every boss in it is Rally only — nothing to hunt solo, skipped this run.
It goes to the World Map, reads how many marches are free, and walks the READY slots top to bottom and each pool rank by rank, as Rally Setter does — taking only Solo and Both rows, and never a Rally-only level.
It searches the X and Y, taps the tile and opens the boss. If the boss is gone, the first strike leaves the coordinate on the board and a second strike on a later visit removes it.
It reads the boss popup. With no Attack on the popup — the tap missed, or the boss died first — it leaves the boss for the next pass (No Attack on this popup — leaving … for the next pass). If the name will not read, it does not attack (Couldn't read the boss name on the popup — not attacking …). A different boss or level is not attacked (Wrong target — expected …), and the coordinate is removed only after two wrong reads.
With the boss confirmed it presses Attack, which opens the March screen. It loads the slot's preset, generals and troops exactly as Rally Setter does, reads the march time and presses March, refilling stamina if the Stamina switch allows.
On a launch it removes the coordinate from the board and tells Coordex the boss is taken. The lane's track starts counting, and the Activity Monitor row closes Hunt sent · Ymir Lv6.
When there is nothing to do it keeps one waiting row open — for example All march slots are full — waiting for one to return… — and starts again when a march returns.
It waits while Coordex scans its board. When the board has nothing a slot can hunt and none of your marches is out, the run asks whether Coordex is scanning the board (its Live switch in Coordex). While it is, the run keeps going under one row — Coordex is scanning 'Server 480 bosses' — nothing on it your slots can hunt yet… — re-checking the board every 8–12 seconds without touching the game, and closes A boss to hunt turned up after a 4m12s wait when one arrives. A due heal still takes the gap; other work waiting for the screen gets it once the wait is 30 seconds old; and after 45 minutes the run ends and a fresh one carries on. While it only waits, the game's offer of your next Viking is left up for Viking Challenge to take. When Coordex is not scanning the board, the run ends instead (below).
When a run ends
Reached the hunt cap for this run
Hunts per run was reached.
Out of stamina — standing down
The Stamina switch is off and a hunt needed more stamina.
No coordinates on '…', and Coordex isn't scanning it — checking again in 3 min
The board is empty, none of your marches are out, and nothing will arrive on its own.
Nothing to hunt on '…', and Coordex isn't scanning it — checking again in 3 min
The board has coordinates, but none is a Solo or Both boss a READY slot's pool ranks, at a level a single march can take, within Max distance.
Nothing to hunt yet — handed the screen to work that was waiting
Coordex is scanning the board and nothing has turned up yet, so the run gave the screen to other work. It checks again in a minute.
Nothing to hunt yet — checking again in a minute
The wait for Coordex reached 45 minutes in one run; a new run carries on.
Stopping after 3 consecutive target failures
Three coordinates in a row could not be attacked — something covering the screen, the map not responding, or Attack not opening the March screen. Shown as a failed run (Rally Setter ends the same stop as a success).
Couldn't identify the boss on the popup 3 times this run — the popup doesn't read at this screen scale
Three boss popups in one run could not be read, so nothing was attacked on a guess. Shown as a failed run.
Couldn't read the March panel after 3 passes
The free-march count could not be read three passes running. Shown as a failed run.
Every armed slot sits out this run
Every slot is out of play for this run — a preset locked or empty in the game, or troops that never loaded. Shown as a failed run.
No Coordex board named '…' — pick a board in Solo Hunt settings
The board was deleted or renamed. Pick a board again.
Examples
One pool, two tasks.Weekend bosses ranks a summoned boss first and Ymir Lv 6–7 after it. Rally Setter on Northwatch rallies the summoned boss; Solo Hunt on the same instance, pointed at the same pool, skips it and hunts Ymir with a single march. Each task counts the marches the other has out.
Splitting a board by kill mode. In Coordex, mark the bosses your single march beats easily as Solo and the big ones as Rally. Solo Hunt never touches the Rally rows and Rally Setter never touches the Solo rows, so neither wastes a march on the other's targets.
On Duties ▸ Buffs, the Attack buff, Defense buff and HP buff run with Solo Hunt as well as Rally Setter by default, and the March speed buff can be set to (its Runs with row). A buff card whose picks you have already changed keeps them, so tick Solo Hunt on it if you want it to ride along.
Troubleshooting
A slot says POOL EMPTY, but its pool has bosses in it.
Every boss in that pool is Rally only — a Viking, a summoned boss, or a level the Monsters library does not hold. The track says All Rally only. and the note at the foot of the card names the pool and says the same. Give the slot a pool with bosses a single march can take. The pool itself is fine for Rally Setter.
The Activity Monitor sits on “Coordex is scanning … — nothing on it your slots can hunt yet…”.
The board is being scanned but holds nothing your READY slots can take — no Solo or Both row, a boss in no slot's pool, or one beyond Max distance. The run waits without touching the game and hunts as soon as one turns up; other work still gets the screen after half a minute. Check the slots' pools and the board's Kill modes in Coordex.
Needs setup says Solo Hunt “has no solo targets on board …”.
The sentence says why: every row on the board is marked Rally, every row is a Viking or a summoned boss, or no row names a boss level the Monsters library holds. Change the rows' Kill mode in Coordex, or let the board collect bosses a single march can take.
Solo Hunt decides which bosses are Rally only from the Monsters library, and hunts nothing until it can read it. Open Resources ▸ Monsters and make sure it lists your bosses.
Needs setup says every boss in a pool “is Rally only”.
The armed slots' pools hold nothing a single march can attack. Rank a boss a solo march can take in one of them, or give a slot another pool.
The log says a boss “has no solo Attack — the library says it can be soloed; mark the level summoned”.
The popup offered only Alliance War. Solo Hunt leaves that boss for Rally Setter for the rest of the run and leaves it on the board. Open the boss in Resources ▸ Monsters and set that level's Spawn to Summoned, so Solo Hunt skips it from then on.
The run ended with “Couldn't identify the boss on the popup 3 times this run”.
The name on the boss popup would not read. Check the emulator display is 540 × 960 and watch a run; a popup or advert covering the boss popup has the same effect.
The log says “Attack didn't open the March screen …”.
Usually every march is busy, or a dialog came up over the March screen. The target is skipped and counts as a failure; three in a row end the run. Try a longer Screen delay for this instance if it happens with marches free.
Solo Hunt never takes the Viking Challenge coordinates on my board.
Every Viking is Rally only, whatever its row says, so Solo Hunt leaves them. The rows stay on the board until they are struck, deleted or cleaned up.
Solo Hunt and Rally Setter are both in the plan — will they fight over marches?
No. Each uses only the slots on its own card, and both count against the instance's march slots, so together they never send more marches than the game allows.
